This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms of use on which you may make use of our Website www.kcsymphonyalliance.org (“Website”), whether as a guest or a registered user. INFORMATION ABOUT US

www.kcsymphony.org is a site operated by the Kansas City Symphony Alliance (“KCSA”). KCSA is a volunteer association  affiliated with the Kansas City Symphony, a professional symphony orchestra located in Kansas City, Missouri.  The address is 1644 Wyandotte Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64108.

ACCESSING OUR WEBSITE

Access to our Website is permitted on a temporary basis, and KCSA reserve the right to amend the information or withdraw the services KCSA provide on our Website without notice (see below). KCSA will not be liable if for any reason if our Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.

KCSA is the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Website (including but not limited to the services other intellectual property rights offered on or via the Website) and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws, and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. You may print off one copy, copy and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our Website for your personal reference and you may draw the attention of others within your organization to material posted on our Website. KCSA processes information about you in accordance with our Privacy found on the Website.  By using our Website, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate and complete.

SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION KCSA

will determine, in its discretion, whether there has been a breach of these Terms of Website Use. Where a breach has occurred, KCSA may take such action as KCSA deem appropriate. Failure to comply with these Terms of Website Use constitutes a material breach of the terms upon which you are permitted to use our Website, and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:

• immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our Website;
• immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by you to our Website;
• issue a warning to you;
• legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach; · further legal action against you;

JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW

The courts of the State of Missouri will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our Website although KCSA retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country. KCSA may revise these Terms of Website Use at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes KCSA makes, as they are binding on you. Who we are

We are the Kansas City Symphony Alliance, a volunteer auxiliary of the Kansas City Symphony, a nonprofit music organization based in Kansas City, Missouri.  Our website address is: https://kcsymphonyalliance.org.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form.  We may look at the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

We do not share your data, but if you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For KCSA member users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
