In 2018 the Kansas City Symphony Alliance added a third fund raising project to its repertoire, the KCSA Trips Program which sponsors trips to international locations to help raise money for the Symphony. The inaugural trip of the KCSA Trips program was to Vienna and Salzburg, Austria, where the group attended a number of outstanding music performances including concerts by both the Vienna Philharmonic and the Berlin Philharmonic, along with recitals, a full length ballet, and an opera.

In 2019, the KCSA trip was to Paris. The travelers enjoyed several concert performances at the Philharmonie de Paris concert hall and also attended events at the Bastille Oper and at the Royal Opera House at Versailles. The group visited the Louvre, Musee d’Oray and l’Orangerie museums, went to the Monet house and gardens in Giverny, and enjoyed the Domaine de Chantilly, among other delightful destinations. The group was at Notre Dame Cathedral just a week before the tragic figure which caused such heavy damage.
